Romantic Reclining Night Experience at Kurashiki Astronomical Observatory
The Kurashiki Observatory is conveniently located 5 minutes on foot from the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter, and is well known by those in the know. The observatory is truly an oasis at night in the city of Kurashiki, and the viewing room with telescopes will be open as a private space for one hour. You can look through the telescope, gaze at the starry sky in our signature infinity chairs, or simply relax in the twilight. The "Kuraten Concierge" will be stationed at the facility to teach you how to use and enjoy the telescope and other facilities, so if you have any questions, please feel free to ask us anytime.

The meeting place for this plan is "Kurashiki Observatory". (Address: 2-19-10 Chuo, Kurashiki City) Please be there 5 minutes before the meeting time. The "Kuraten Concierge" will welcome you.
Observation Room Guide
Upon arrival at the facility, you will be escorted to the viewing room. After the concierge explains how to enjoy the observation deck, After the concierge explains how to enjoy the viewing room, you will lie down in the infinity chair. The concierge will then slowly open the sliding roof. (Shutter chance! ☆) While you lie back and gaze at the stars, the concierge will prepare drinks and snacks for you.
Star gazing through a telescope
The concierge will align the telescope to stars visible to the naked eye. While you are relaxing, please take a look through the large 31.5cm reflecting telescope. You may be able to see stars that are only slightly visible to the naked eye, but they may have patterns, and you may even be able to see nearby satellites.
Commemorative photo shoot
We will take a commemorative photo with the telescope and the night sky☆. Please make it a memory of your trip to Kurashiki♪ The time limit of the plan is 1 hour. Please enjoy the tour until the time is up.

- The sliding roof can be opened to let outside air in. The nights will be cold, so please take adequate warm-up measures.

- In case of rain, we will take you to the "Hara Sumiji and Minoru Honda Memorial Museum" in our facility instead.
- Beer is served in this plan. If you do not like alcohol, please let us know in advance. We will serve a soft drink instead.
- The contents of the snacks will change depending on the day of participation.
- No refunds will be made in the event that no stars are seen due to weather conditions on the day of the tour.
- The "Kuraten Concierge" is not an expert in astronomy, so there are some things we do not know about the stars. We will entertain you by creating a romantic space.
